The toner had a very nice gel-like consistence which felt super-weird to use on a cotton pad so I just literally slapped it on my face. It feels like a mix of a serum and a toner, something I’m not used to at all, but actually I really liked it. It definitely tightened my pores and gave my skin this silky smooth feel. If you look at the photo closely, you can see how those silver particles float around this gel, very luxurious.

Eye-cream and the moisturizer both looked so pretty, you can see how this cream/gel formula has created those beautiful patterns inside the bottles and I also like how they came with a spoon, because you should never put your dirty fingers in a cream-pot. I felt really bad ruining the patterns scooping out the cream the first time…

Anyways, the eye-cream provides skin with anti-inflammatory and antiseptic effects and makes it very elastic and smooth. I’m not going to lie, I haven’t really used eye-creams because I just always forget and I haven’t felt a need for one so this is actually the first time I’ve been using one. I straight-out admit that I’ve been so wrong and I now can’t live without an eye-cream anymore. I can’t really give it a rating though because I don’t have the comparison moment, but I do love using it and it makes my under-the-eye skin nicely moisturized.

This day-cream has been a real hero aswell and I love the mixture of a cream and a gel that makes it very light-weight. It moisturizes so well without leaving the skin heavily covered in a fatty cream. I feel like it’s been minimizing my impurities a lot and all those products together have kept my skin very clear and smooth.

Green tea balancing toner

I like to start with my favourite one and it is Green Tea Balancing Toner. Toners are usually something that a lot of people are too lazy to use and they do not see the purpose of them. I have to say that I have not used many toners but this is by far my favourite one. Green tea extracts have a calming effect and toners balance the skin pH. I use it every morning and night before moisturizing, it feels light even if it not watery, it has gel consistency. I just use my fingers, no cotton pads, and massage the gel into my skin. Toners don’t give an instant difference but I have used it now for 3 weeks and of course, it is a combination of the other products as well, but my skin has been looking better than it did in September and October. Now, the toner is a must step in my skin care routine.

Phytosilver day cream

It is suitable for dry and oily skin types because it balances the skin. I have a combination skin type, it can get oily and it can get very dry in the winter time. It is said that it stimulates the natural renewal process of cells, prevents acne and skin from ageing. Also, Phytosilver day cream protects the skin from harmful climate factors, for instance, wind, warm and cold temperatures. I have been absolutely enjoying using it, it feels light and it is hydrating. It sits perfectly underneath the makeup, I haven’t had any problems even with heavier foundations. Sometimes I find that when two products do not mix together, it starts to roll off and gets patchy, especially with a heavier day cream. Ginseng mask peel off

This mask is formulated with wild ginseng, which is gathered from Chang Bai Mountain in China. It is used to slow down the appearance of ageing. Also, it has aloe and algae, which will clean the skin. It is a peel-off mask and it will get rid of aged surface cells to make the skin softer. I am not the biggest fan of peel off masks, most of them are so hurtful to peel off and it is not often worth the tears. In this case, this mask is not painful to peel off. It is a clear gel, leave it on about for 20 minutes then peel off and lastly, I like to go over the skin with lukewarm water. I wasn’t that surprised by this mask, it was alright but not anything special to me. I guess I enjoy to use more those masks that show the difference instantly but maybe if you have very sensitive skin, it could be a good gentle mask for you.

As I chose cream for the daytime, I also thought that I would like to try out one for the nighttime as well. So I decided to go with Green Tea Sebum Control night cream. I can not say that I have problematic skin in terms of acne but of course, time to time my skin can get crazy due to the hormones. So I just decided to got with this cream because green tea extracts calm the skin and I would love if something could keep my skin under control. And it does that, since I started using PULANNA products I have actually seen a difference in my skin when my hormones are going crazy and overall my skin has less pimples and under the skin spots. I was quite suspicious at first, it looks like a gel, but I have combination skin and I was sure that I will not be as hydrating as my skin needs. I have to admit, I was wrong. My skin does not feel dry in the slightest and I think that my skin actually cannot absorb heavy creams, especially nighttime creams. What is the difference between UVA, UVB and UVC rays?

Short wavelength UVC rays emit the most dangerous type of radiation. Fortunately, the ozone layer faithfully protects us from their destructive influence.

UVB rays are medium wavelength UV rays (beta radiation). Only approximately 5% of the harmful radiation passes through the atmosphere. However, even that is enough to cause skin burns or the development of melanoma.

UVA rays are long wavelength UV rays (alpha radiation) that do not result in visible injuries but penetrate deep into skin layers and cause:

• premature aging of the skin (photoaging)
• hypersensitivity to the sun
• pigmentation disorders
• development of skin cancer.

In order to avoid unpleasant consequences after the summer season, make sure to use sun protection products regularly, not only during visits to the beach.

Types of UV filters

UV filters are substances that absorb, reflect and neutralise the negative influence of UV radiation. They are divided into the following groups:

• chemical sunscreens that block and absorb UV rays. These products are water-resistant and highly efficient. May cause allergic reactions.
• physical sunblocks that reflect UV rays. Do not create a reaction with the skin, effective immediately after application.

How to choose sun protection products?

Despite the abundance of sun protection products on the market, it is not that easy to choose safe and efficient products.

Components to pay attention to

The SPF (Sun Protection Factor). This indicates the level of protection against beta radiation. SPF should be chosen according to your skin type: if sunburn occurs on your skin in 10 minutes without protection, then applying a SPF-15 product should enable you to stay in the sun for up to 150 minutes.

SPF-15 products are best suited for daily use; you should apply a product with an SPF of 30 or higher when going to the beach.

IPD and PPD indexes show the level of protection against alpha radiation. UVA filters include compounds like titanium dioxide, zinc oxide, Mexoryl, Tinosorb or Avobenzone.

• Creams and gels form a thin film on the skin’s surface that reflects the UV rays. You should use a cream if your skin is dry and a gel if it is oily.
• Facial creams have an especially light texture.
• Oils are used for skin hydration after a short period of time in the sun.
• Sprays and aerosols are quick and easy to apply and convenient to use (not recommended if you are prone to allergic reactions).
• Balms, lotions and cooling gels nourish and regenerate your skin, saturate it with nutrients to prevent the premature aging of skin and provide a perfectly even tan.

Before making a purchase, please carefully examine the ingredients and test the product. A high-quality sunscreen is quickly absorbed into the skin without leaving an oily sheen.

Here comes the first post of the new year of 2017, and it concerns two products at once!

I remember seeing them on the web site and wanting to try them immediately. Do you know, why? Did you see the design? To be more accurate, how the cream is provided in a bottle? This is fantastic! Wow!

Nano technologies have reached our dressing tables. And design of the eye contour cream is also cool! But let’s start with the beginning.

Moisturising protective daily cream from the Green Tea series

This is a totally destroyed capsule. Such amount is quite sufficient for applying the cream onto face and neck.

And now I’ll tell you my opinion about this cream.

In the beginning, I was doubtful about the cream as I don’t normally use the mass market products, and I was afraid that the cream will block my pores and I will be covered in pimples. But I was curious and started to use it. Now, I am absolutely confident that it doesn’t block pores at all! It is so light and pleasant. It is peachy keen on moisturising and softening skin. I apply it daily as the base for makeup, it is also fine. Cosmetics overlies in an excellent way, nothing dwindles or vanishes. Besides, it fights efflorescence efficiently – partially removing the existing ones and preventing appearance of new rashes.

All in all, this is the ideal cream for my skin. My closest know that I have lately stopped using facial creams, and switched over to serums, fluids and gels as my pores get immediately blocked by heavy textures. But this cream gel is so light that it doesn’t affect my problematic skin. It absorbs very fast leaving the skin moisturised. What’s more, the cream has light, fresh aroma, which quickly disappears.

You can see those sparks on the swatch (where gel and a piece of spiral are already mixed). This is finely divided shimmer, which can be seen under eyes on closer inspection.

And here comes my opinion.

I like this cream very much but there is one BUT which means I’ll stop using it regardless of all its benefits.

Of course, it’s peach keen on skin moisturising! I have never had anything so great for skin moisturising. It is gorgeous as daily cream! It gets absorbed very quickly, and highlighter is always evenly applied. Therefore, highlighter won’t roll down or ball up in folds – it lies in a perfect unnoticeable way. No dry zones, exfoliation, accentuated texture. Absolute delight!

However, there is something wrong with its ingredients – it irritates my eyes, and they start watering. In fact, the feeling is very unpleasant and that is why it’s uncomfortable in use. I am not sure if I continue to use it – likewise mice that teared, pricked against cactus needles but went on to stuff themselves – or will refuse to use it anymore: we’ll see.
